These guidelines outline the procedure and approved fees for registration of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles in Kano State.

Kano State operates a consolidated payment system, where applicants make a single payment covering all required statutory charges (excluding Driver’s Licence, which is processed separately).


🚗 2. SCOPE OF PAYMENT (CONSOLIDATED FEES)

The single payment made by applicants covers the following:

  • Vehicle Registration Fee
  • Vehicle Inspection Fee
  • Road Worthiness Certification
  • Number Plate Allocation
  • Administrative Charges
  • Insurance (where applicable)
