Consequent upon the application of Shara Dukiya Nig. Ltd (https://dailytimes.ng/ganduje-plans-multi-billion-naira-waste-plant-kano/) Kano State Government under the waste management sector approved the company’s proposal to establish a modern waste processing plant in metropolitan Kano which has thus far given about one thousand (1000) job opportunities to the youth population of Kano State.
Africa Development Studies Center (ADSC) (https://adstudiescenter.com/adsc/about-us/) headquartered in England, has made a presentation of its proposal to the State Executive Council which was received well. Kano State Government has signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) with ADSC to build the capacity of the state security institute at Zakirai.
Dangote Industries Nig. Ltd has had its application to establish a 100 megawatts solar energy plant approved by Government. Further to the approval, the investor was allocated 157Hectres of land at Gabasawa Local Government Area, Kano State. The investor has mobilized to site and about five hundred (500) jobs are expected to benefit the populace in Kano.
